Kuba Sojka
Biografía
Kuba was born in 1987. He has actually dealt with music for a long time - since the childhood, we could say. He was seven when he started to learn music, then decided to attend music school where he played the trumpet and piano. He started producing music quite early. At first it was more like a hobby but he also began checking himself in the role of a producer. Time was passing and he got more and more into the music. Finally, he began to release the first tracks under his pseudonym Psi-acoustic. It was music such as ambient, IDM, minimal and dub. Under his real name he began producing music more dedicated to the dance floor: Detroit techno, house, deep house and tech-house ...It was music less experimental than that of the Psi-acoustic project. He is strongly influenced by genres such as smooth jazz, funk, soul and R&B from the 70s. To say a little more, he is greatly impressed by Marvin Gaye and Roy Ayers, artists able to give emotions through music. Nowadays their music can be described as very deep. What Kuba does is trying to stay in the specific character and dynamics of their tracks and keep the soul and free funk groove of those years.
