Montreal-based DJ and producer, KORVN explores a spectrum of emotions with a raw and powerful techno style. Struck by the evolution of the genre, he draws inspiration by both old school and contemporary sounds. Now well rooted in the underground techno scene of Montreal, he has been collaborating in the organization behind the edgiest local events since 2017 and his residency with the OCTOV collective offers him the opportunity to deliver his relentless musical vision to all the ravers. Unfolding an eclectic mix of techno, industrial, acid, trance and hardcore under your stomping feet, a KORVN DJ set will take you on a frenetic and fast-paced journey. Sprinkling many other styles of music, adding brutal percussions and heady melodies, he is always pushing away the boundaries in a never-ending effort to throw the dance floor in a stunning atmosphere of savagery. KORVN made several appearances on line-ups composed with influential and renowned international artists such as Nur Jaber, Jacidorex, Geerson and AADJA. He has also performed at the prominent Piknic Électronik, Society of Arts and Technology [SAT] or even at the StereoBar. Additionally, his work has recently been supported by two European rising artists who accepted to remix one of his original tracks which will be released in early 2023 within his first EP project proving his capabilities to create sharp and creative techno music.
