Kooky's DJ journey began only a year and a half ago, following an incredible recovery from years of Hyperacusis, a condition that once made listening to music painful. Finally able to experience her biggest influences - Dom Dolla, John Summit, and Gorgon City - live, Kooky threw herself into DJing with passion and purpose. After learning through an intensive crash course for a charity gig supporting Mind at Brighton Electric in May 2023, she’s been making waves across the local scene ever since. You’ll now find her behind the decks at Block Bar, Tiki Hut, The Mesmerist, and Rybka, where her infectious energy and uplifting selections keep dancefloors moving. Despite being neurodiverse, Kooky continues to evolve her craft and connect deeply with her audience. Her next goal? Producing her own tracks and taking her sound to the next level.
