Kona FM is a Chicago based DJ hailing from Houston, TX. She got her start down south hosting electronic music slots on non-profit radio which eventually led to throwing down on the decks at local clubs, festivals, and even a Houston edition of Boiler Room. After moving to Chicago she picked up steam playing local favorite spots like Berlin, The Hideout, Smartbar, as well many DIY parties. She is known for throwing down a variety of heavy hitting polyrhythmic techno, electro and EBM though prefers to not be contained to specific genres as long as it gets the crowd raging.
