Jose Pesantes, best known as Kleptik has knowledge of, and djing skills in all electronic music genres: from the downtempo beats of trip-hop and nu-jazz to the electronic dance music flavors of house, techno, and drum-and-bass. Kleptik was created to be a multifacetic multi genre Dj. He has proved that in different events over the years. Kleptik's main music target these days has been the Movements happening between the House and Techno Scene. The sounds maintains some deep, funky, and melodical grooves. Kleptik has been a visionary and has been at the vanguard on the Underground Music Scene. On his sets, Kleptik is aware of the crowd's vibe and manipulates it with a persistent line of mixing that incorporates a myriad of sub-genres. After many years of djing Kleptik is fortunate to have spinned in local venues like Ambys, Candela, Spybar and El Tunel de Guajataca along island djs like Juan Mauricio Rojas, Red, Z-boys ,K-Oba, Tekadisko, PRDC, dj Trixx, Lady Liquid ,Emil Cedeño and Ivan Robles. He has also played besides international, high figures of the electronic music scene like DieselBoy , Jackal and Hyde, Bad Company, Pendulum, Sander Kleinenberg, Goldie Ellen Alien, Thomas Muller, Meat Katie, AK1200, Dj Dara, Alexis Delano, Lee Van Dowski, Le Castlevania, NadaStrom, Rob Spark, D-frnt, Dinky, Camea, DjKoze, AppleBlim, Sergio Santos, Soul Clap, Lee Foss, Wolf+Lamb, Jamie Jones, Deniz Kurtel, Inxec, Art Deparment, Bloody Mary, Damian Lazarus, Sharam, Z-trip. Kleptik has played outside Puerto Rico in New York, Miami, Orlando and Peru therefore obtaining a diverse musical taste. In the near future he will incorporate live PA sessions on his sets. Currently Kleptik is working on some tracks for the Puerto Rican Techno Label Red Shield Records.
