Since the end of 2016, Karl Kennelis explores deep sounds in a niche between underground club patterns and melodic electronic avant-garde, combined in search for the perfect vibe. Between 2001-2010 affiliated with independent & improvised Warsaw scene. He started his music career in 2001 as a pianist & synth player, after joining local alternative jazz scene. Till 2010, he was closely associated with the independent and improvised Warsaw scene, currently gathered around Lado ABC label. He cooperated and recorded with Paweł Szamburski, Macio Moretti, DJ Lenar, Rafael Rogiński, among others. In 2015 he returned to making music, re-discovering it thanks to a fascination with works of Daphne Oram, Milton Babbit, Pierre Shaeffer, Karl Stockhausen, Edvard Varese and Terry Riley. This inspiration, combined with previous experience led to the creation of new projects, including Klar Kinelis - electronic music played and looped live. He currently resides in Warsaw where he performs solo or together with Andrzej Herfurt as Improwizards duet.
