KILLABEATMAKER is a Colombian DJ, Producer and Singer-Songwriter, who combines Pan African rhythms like Afrobeat and Amapiano, with South American traditional Indige- nous music, all framed within urban and global club sounds. The Live-Set show brings a grooving and mystical combination through an energetic performance, made of three musicians on stage: Guadalupe Giraldo on drums, Indigenous flutes and singing; Julian Ramirez on percussion and backing vocals; and KILLABEATMAKER, who complements an ecstatic show with enhanced beatbox, rap, singing and electrifying DJ beats. In the past years, he has made three tours to Europe, performing in more than 35 cities, as well as in festivals in the USA and in important and recognized cultural music hubs in South America. He shared a Latin Grammy nomination in 2014, as Co-Producer and Sound Engineer, with a project that also won an award from the Nickelodeon TV channel. His last Album, "Matiela Suto" from early 2021 (On Spotify), was well received by the media and featured by recognized broadcasters like Branko (Enchufada, Buraka Som Sistema), Jamz Supernova (BBC Radio 1), and Kampire (Nyege Nyege Festival), it was also showcased twice on Paris-based media Pan African Music, who premiered the title-track official video. Also, the song "Matiela Suto" was selected as "Songs You Need to Hear This Week" by Okay Africa, the number one media for the African diaspora culture in the U.S.A and was added to countless Spotify editorial playlists. This positive reception resulted in the Album being reproduced more than 50,000 times in a span of fewer than two months.
