Kiko has been connected to music since 12 years old, when he convinced his parents to buy his first drums and start the music journey. At the end of the 90’s, Kiko started attending electronic music events in Lisbon, Portugal. It was then where he gained an incessant taste for dance music. By 2004, Kiko decided to get more involved in the music scene by doing promotions with some of the biggest promotional groups in Lisbon. As a result, he’s built a wide network of strong friendships in the music business and nightlife. Overtime, just doing promotions was not enough. In 2010, Kiko started DJ-ing in his home. It was only a matter of time before he started getting gigs in Lisbon. In 2014, things started to get more serious for Kiko being a DJ. Thanks to the encouragement of his dear friend John-e, Kiko bought his first vinyl players, and fell in love with vinyl mixes. The influences of techno as well as the good vibes of house inspire him. The connection between the people and the music is his first priority.
