KHX05 ( pronounced “Chaos”) is a force. A queer/trans rapper and multi-disciplinary artist based in Durham, NC with Gullah-Gechee cultural roots. Their music slithers through genres and brings energy of resistance and liberation. Mixing elements of punk and electronic into their music, KHX05 makes hip-hop that packs a punch. They are one of the newest members of Never Normal Records, founded by Suzi Analogue and Heavee. KHX05 recently played for the WKNC 88.1 Double Barrel Benefit Fundraiser show and opened for Trinidad James last year. She has worked with Dr. Martens with the Nova Twins, featured in DJMag, LORD NARF, and Rozay Labeija from the Legendary House of Labejia.
