Born with a keytar in his hands, Keymono was absorbed by all sorts of judo funk and soul from a young age and turned to electronic music when he was old enough to consume (and supply) it in all its forms. And when he could afford starting his own record collection, (some ask why) he fled to Santiago de Chile, paid oversized luggage fees, became a DJ and shook up rooftops, strip clubs, swimming pools and underground casinos all over the capital. Today most know him from the time he joined powers with his peers Dumbmachine and Funkyshirts MZN to launch Barcelona-based vinyl only label Funky Shirts Records in the early ‘20s. He then went on to establish his own imprint, Monocturne, and took part in various projects including Hot Sauces Records and other secret international missions over the last couple of years.
