Kevin Domanski has been born and raised in Berlin in the early 90s and his passion for music was obvious since he was little. At just 12 years old he started playing the guitar and he was mostly into grunge, alternative, rock. Being in love with a variety of genres helped cement Kevin’s deep musical understanding, as he played small gigs with small local bands. As he grew up, he also played drums and his musical universe expanded to new genres such as jazz or old school hip-hop. Naturally, as a music nerd, he discovered with much enthusiasm the Berlin nightlife at about 16 at drum’n’bass parties. At 18 he started working in the clubs and therefore he abandoned his band and decided to start DJ-ing. Soon after, he started playing vinyl and today he is still a vinyl enthusiast who combines the best of analog and digital, crazy in love with hi-hats. Domanski has been producing tracks the past few years in collaboration with his good friend De:tronique as HASHIMIZU and they have already played several live sets together. Kevin has also been producing and releasing tracks in collaboration with his friend Const Cash under their DISKURS moniker. As a DJ, Domanski is the resident and co-organizer of the famous party-series „Schlafenzug” and „Tohuwabohu” that has been taking place at Golden Gate in Berlin for the past ten years. His playing style could be described as eclectic: deep and focused tech minimal sounds blend in perfectly with the groove of house. Some peculiar background noises that add a special flavor are complementing the futuristic and spacey vibes sometimes noticed in his sets. The tracks may seem that they don’t fit together at first, but Kevin can create a musical soundscape that will immerse the listener and take him on a journey he will never forget.
