Kevin is a massive fan of the music industry and considers himself very lucky to have lived his life heavily involved in the current dance scene, After leaving school and immediately running his own promotional night "Flaunt-it"(still runnig today...for over 10 years), he quickly took to getting behind the decks to make sure the music created the perfect atmosphere for his night!! This gave him a major taste for the industry and he promptly moved on to start his own record distribution company "Essential Direct Ltd" (one of the most successful Uk Dance Music distributors for the last 10 years). This stemmed to financing and giving him the opportunity to operate two fully equipped studios, soon giving birth to the infamous duo "The HOXTON WHORES". Kevin and Gary Dedman (The other half of HW's) now managed to create numerous monster club anthems and announced themselves into many a dj's record bag!! Leading on from the productions Kevin and Gary were very fortunate to enjoy there biggest love "DJING" and to there great pleasure and hopefully the crowds they still entertain all around the world, they were able to to give back hours of entertainment that the punters have given to them throughout the years!! The Hoxton Whores are still flying very high with numerous monster releases already lined up for 2009 and this year looks set to be a great year for the boys. They are heavily active in the studio and love producing exclusive tunes to smash out during there very energetic, mayhemic but professional sets!! Acting alongside this and wishing to take nothing away from the HW's, Kevin decided it was time to undertake a project of his own and start his own record label called World Sound Recordings. It gave him the ideal platform to express what he has learn't from the industry over the past 10 years and by venturing into this project the opportunity to show case all his new individual productions along side getting heavily involved with other artists, presenting him the perfect base to sign up their new material! Throughout 2009/10 he heavily pushed to establish the label amongst the strongest credible labels out there and is now enjoying major success on the leading on line dance music sites Beatport / Traxsource / Dj Download plus others with numerous Top 10 releases. The path and direction of the label will certainly be focused around the current scene but built upon a base of dirty underground house beats, awesome progressive grooves and energetic tech house flavours. After having dj'd now for over 10 years and experienced the ever evolving scene all around the world Kevin will endeavour to make sure the label compliments his current dj sets, remaining very up front and edgy and portraying a very relevant sound!!
