Kerima

The environment, change, the future, and dreams of the past shape Kerima’s musical worlds. She collects field recordings from her surroundings, which find their way into the soundtracks of her video works on the one hand, and on the other hand, as fragments, repeatedly come together in new ways within her musical productions. This creates a dense atmosphere of rhythms and textures that emerge from found material in the environment and evolve into organic textures.
