Born in the fridge, also known as Bogotá, he has been a DJ since 2018. In 2019, together with Miguel Rojas (Aleroj) and Juan Felipe Jaramillo (Xara), they started Perro Perro, an electronic music collective and platform recognized for its contestatary attitude towards the status quo of the electronic music scene in Bogota, through its relaxed, inclusive, eclectic, and mamagallista proposal. Kem Roolhaas’ sound is characterized by being eclectic, where he seeks to tell stories through his sets. His musical curation is influ- enced by genres such as Dark Disco, Electro house, and Ebm which he puts into play with the higher vibes of Indie, Disco, and House. The work with Perro Perro has taken him to venues in Bogotá such as Video Club (where the third Techno de Mamá y Perreo de la Abuela was held, the collective’s flagship event) Kest, Lede, Radio 57 (Old Chamán) and to participate in online radio stations such as +Ruido of Ahora and Circuito Futuro by Turntable Dealer.
