Kda
Biografía
Without any pretence; KDA always allows the music to speak for itself, having already bagged a coveted mix show slot on London-based Rinse FM and remixing everyone from Vaults and CHVRCHES to Katy B and newcomer Frances while drawing from a high caliber of influences including from A Tribe Called Quest and Jill Scott through to Maya Jane Coles and Tame Impala.
KDA’s gig credentials are wracking up too, having taken the controls at several major cities around the UK and Europe in 2015, as well as headlining room 2 both nights at Annie Mac’s sold out Brixton Academy shows, going b2b with Marshall Jefferson at the Nest, and having recently been announced as the very special guest at Fat Boy Slim’s “Smile High Club” Tobacco Dock edition. A number of interesting guest appearances in London are also rumoured to be taking place in 2016.
His debut release “Rumble” included remixes from House gangster DJ Sneak, Techno duo Dense & Pika, Arttu and Toddla T with the legendary Arman Van Helden in charge of remix duties on the hugely successful UK Chart topper “Turn The Music Louder”.
Currently, KDA is hard at work in the studio putting time in to his album. Based on the explosive entry to the music landscape, he has some interesting names joining him to collaborate on the project, which will be a full mix of influences defiant of stereotypical genre.
