In 2005 at the age of 20, DJ Kay Dee started performing at house and underground clubs throughout South-eastern Europe. In 2006 she became a resident DJ at Radio AS FM, a prestigious electronic music radio station in Serbia. As a rare female DJ to stay faithful to the analogue sound, playing vinyl records, together with her specific feminine, sexy, mesmerizing style, she soon became highly desirable on the regional electronic scene. In 2007 she started working in a music production studio which eventually brought her to the Exit Festival, one of the biggest European music events, where she had a privilege to meet some leading DJ names like: John Digweed, Trentemoller, Roger Sanchez, Frankie Knuckles, etc. At the beginning of 2008 she went to the USA to get to know the American house scene better. Living in NY and LA she got a unique opportunity to enrich her vinyl set with the specific American soulful house sound. During 2009 and 2010 she toured throughout south-eastern Europe, performing in various clubs in the Balkans region, establishing a strong presence and building public awareness for her pursuit of quality sound, at the same time raising her performances to another level. In the summer of 2011 she performed at the Exit Music Festival both a headliner with her DJ set and as a warmup DJ for Syke'N'Sugarstarr at the Radio AS Fm stage.
