Katerinha is a North Macedonian singer and DJ living and working in Berlin. After graduating at the University of Arts in Berlin she started her career as a booker and artist manager in the live music scene of the city. Apart from being active in the business and applied side of arts, she has performance experience as a bass player, DJ, guitarist and singer and she is now releasing her first solo music. She is currently working on the final production of her debut EP, whose songs will be released as singles individually within a year. The name “Katerinha” is a wordplay of her given name Katerina and the Portugiese way to make diminutive, which is an homage to her love for Brazilian music. In her DJ sets she blends Afrobrazilian, Caribbean and West-African club sounds with instrumental HipHop, Afrohouse and R’n’B remixes.
