Emerging from the swamps of the Edinburgh Student Housing Cooperative, Kate is a versatile DJ with a taste for the vibrant, evocative, unheard, and outspoken. Resident at Femmergy for over a year, as well as supporting new talent in the housing coop, she is deeply woven into the local queer community, and moves in an inventive dance with the culture. Playing nights such as Gang of Bitches from Hell, Midnight Bass, Hypnotikk, Headset, Plant Bass'd, Club Sylkie and more, Kate's become a staple on the cowgate. In this time she's supported DJs including Jyoty, Otik, Aya, Seren Seo, Sosi, and DJ Pacifier. She also is one of the promoters behind ESHC's new Principle 8 night, showcasing firebrand young talent in the queer rave scene. They also often support the local fundraising scene through nights such as Heavy Flow, Femmergy, and a fundraiser night for the Queer Film Night. Never one to set the bar low, Kate's sets vary from the sleazy and easy ass-swingers to punishing rhythms and intense workouts. Their own creations stray between the worlds of songwriting and dance production, employing a broad musical vocabulary to spread what has come to her.
