Biografía

With an unshakable passion, boundless energy, and a versatile musical taste, it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that KÂMILO is a true alchemist guiding the dancefloor. Over 10 years of experience in the nightlife scene back up his strong ability to authentically connect with his audience through his love for music, positioning him as one of the most exciting and unpredictable artists in the world of 4 on the floor and dance music. Driven by a deep and contagious love for the euphoria of the '90s, with a steady pulse of percussion, irresistible basslines, vibrant piano melodies, and acid synth modulations, this Mexican DJ has dynamically conquered the dancefloor and the most iconic clubs of Guadalajara, his hometown. With extreme vitality in every performance and his charismatic personality, KÂMILO, the newly appointed resident DJ at the new POLIFONIC club, has performed at some of the most prominent venues both in and outside his city, including Luzyboom, Bar Américas, Confessions, Zamanik, LabriqueStudio, Majahuitas, Jamaica Gogo, Nadim, Dorothy, and Lost & Found, as well as internationally at YOU+ONE (Vancouver, Canada). Always focused on his firm belief in being an authentic performer, capable of creating a warm sense of belonging where music acts as a bridge that unites us, making us part of something greater. Throughout his career, KÂMILO has had the opportunity to be part of the line-up at enigmatic events and festivals such as Incendia, Dreamfields, Mita Sounds, Plage Isolee, and Onírico. In November 2022, he made his first trip to the Middle East, joining private parties in Dubai and performing at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi, further establishing himself as a boundaryless artist. Few DJs have gained recognition for their genuine and eclectic musical taste projected so organically and naturally on the dancefloor as KÂMILO. Because of this, this limitless performer has shared the stage with international artists such as Artbat, Sasha, Monolink, Damian Lazarus, Jimi Jules, Juan Hansen, Alan Dixon, Frankey & Sandrino, Notre Dame, Damon Jee, Satori, Kerala Dust, Eagles & Butterflies, Bora Uzer, Rodríguez Jr., Musumeci, and Dodi Palese, among many others. KÂMILO has been strongly influenced by a diverse range of music, from disco, soul, and funk, to indie, new wave, and post-punk, creating an emotional, fresh, rebellious, and elegant experience for his audience. These currents have not only nourished his style but have also been essential in his creative process, guiding him in the search for his own sound that challenges the ordinary in his productions. For him, the journey of becoming a producer is as valuable as the commitment to developing his own artistic voice, defining his music as a reflection of life itself: "a waltz between struggle and romance," as he describes it. With a bright future ahead, KÂMILO promises to become an icon of the global underground scene.
