Kadabra has continued to express his passion for underground dance music and fantastic DJ’s through local media since his introduction into the Austin scene nearly 15 years ago. He’s hosted a public access TV show, created 2 college radio shows and in 2012, The House Hookup podcast was born. T.H.H. brought together the best DJ's in house, techno, and disco from both Texas and the world. The show was recently retired after 156 episodes! Since 2011, he has been a contributing editor and record reviewer for 5 Magazine in Chicago. 2014 saw the formation of the 4Jackz crew together with Erin Millington, Mark Denim, and J.A.M.O.N to represent straight up house music in Austin. They do their thing every 2nd Thursday at the famous and long-standing club Plush. When Kadabra is in the booth you can expect a variety of 4/4. It could be funky, soulful, deep, tech, or jackin’. You might catch him using the occasional scratch record.
