Karim Sadek (kaamzs) began his journey into Techno and associated genres in the early 2010s. With prominent artists such as 'O.B.I', 'Destruction Derby', and 'Nobody' pushing out constant high speed Hardtechno and Schranz, thus ultimately influencing kaamzs into the violent sounds himself. The unique style of kaamzs has been clearly displayed via a barrage of releases showcasing a diverse range of sound in both his production and DJ mixes. His distinct hard sounds, trademark erotic undertones, and non-stop high speeds, quickly garnered him support from numerous commercial Hard Techno artists, such as 'Rebekah' and 'Kobosil', as well as 'SPFDJ' who famously provided the apt feedback "Next to [kaamzs] 'Speedy Fucking DJ' became slow fucking DJ". In 2019 he established Red Sea Records (RSR), the sole Egyptian based label for harder genres of music. The label prides itself on its open minded approach to the content they produce and the artists they work with; viewing RSR as a tool to combat the monotonous and slow sounds which plague Egypt and surrounding areas. Continuous releases through 2020 and into 2021 such as the 'High Speed Violence' V.A. featuring prominent artists like 'Wanton' and 'PLEXØS, served to quickly solidify the labels position in the Industrial and Hardcore scene globally. With a full on no-fucks-given approach to everything in life, kaamzs promises to continue serving his irrationally fast, distorted, and hard sounds "until the day [his] ears blow out".
