DJ / Sound Producer Active since the early 1990s, K THE RATA has explored not only minimal and hypnotic techno but also experimental and diverse sounds. Yet what has remained unwavering throughout his career is a deep commitment to expressions rooted in the underground and leftfield context. His DJing and productions, backed by decades of experience, are disciplined and technical while also intuitive and emotional. By weaving delicate grooves and frequencies, he transforms the dance floor into a unique artistic space. Currently, he runs the music label “三千音響 (Sanzen Onkyo)” and the Asian underground collective “evangelists.” Through these platforms, he organizes and performs at events not only in Tokyo and across Japan but also in major Asian cities such as Bangkok, Seoul, Busan, and Hanoi. His mission is to connect the Asian underground and project its energy onto the global stage.
