Emerging from the vibrant, cultural hub of her hometown, Amersfoort, JUUL is rising through the scene as a promising DJ. With a broad and uncontrollable curiosity for different kinds of music, she finds the flashiest records in the darkest corners of Bandcamp. Not one to get stuck in a single box, JUUL colors outside the traditional genre lines as she seamlessly navigates through house, UK funky, breaks and garage. Her love for house in particular runs deep, spanning across minimal and percussive back to 90s and soulful. Each set keeps you on your tippy toes, but there’s always a distinctive, uplifting and groovy base to pull your feet firmly back onto the dancefloor. Whether it’s in smoky clubs like NAR, Shelter & FLUOR or in the fresh air of festivals such as Into The Woods, Wildeburg and Best Kept Secret, JUUL is able to make any crowd bounce regardless of terrain. Besides playing her favorite tunes out in the wild, she contributes to stimulating local talent and giving them a place to develop their sound by running Radio OOSTWEST in Amersfoort.
