Justin Rivera aka J.RIV is an American house music DJ, producer, singer and songwriter. As a vocalist growing up musically inclined, he always had an appreciation for all forms of art and music. Justin Rivera defines himself as an Artist. He started to DJ and produce music when moving to Europe, but has been playing different instruments since an early age. He even has some background in acting and theatre. He started to explore different genres of Dance/Electronic music when moving to Spain. Justin Rivera is a lover of House, Techno, nuDisco, Deep House, Funk, AfroBeat, UK Garage & all things groovy. Always trying to transpire these forms in his music while inhabiting a space where old school Chicago House meets Detroit Techno, syncs with rolling funk. Born in the high desert outside of LA county, he grew up in NJ and is currently based in Spain. You can find Justin Rivera regularly doing events around Spain. His goal is to transmit groovy dance floor vibes to his audience that are a tribute to Chicago house and Detroit techno, but with a modern progressive twist, while adding in afro latin elements to his sound. His sound is very much house music, but when given the opportunity, he will have you enjoying techno as well.
