Hi! My name's Raúl but my nickname as a musician is Jurgo, I was born and live in Valencia, Spain. Currently today I am a DJ and previously I was also a record producer, although honestly that stage of my life has been closed but it is likely that I will resume it again as I have recently resumed being a DJ, but do not worry that below I will tell you my story.

I was interested in electronic music from a very young age and when I decided to become a DJ and music producer for the first time after several years being a fan of this musical style was in 2014 and I was 16 years old. Back then the predominant electronic music was EDM and all its subgenres such as Bass House, Hard House, Jungle Terror, Melbourne Bounce, Progressive House, Tech House, Dark Techno, Melodic Techno, Dirty Dutch and Big Room among others. These musical styles were my first contact with the party and with my identity, so it pushed me to create my own music mainly and be able to DJ as a second plane, but after several years self-taught I decide to stop producing music in 2017 due to lack of resources and ideas to continue composing. Also as a DJ I was young, I had little experience and low self-confidence to make myself known or be able to play live music outside of my home or my comfort zone. This stage was the first and although it was short and not intense I remember it fondly because it was the beginning of my link with the world of music with songs at about 128 BPM.

I had a hard time taking back the world of electronic music, but that was the end of it. It took more than 5 years to do that but here we are back since 2023. Everything has changed a lot and we have adapted to it, because we have gone through the era of the COVID-19 and now in terms of electronic music we have increased the BPM because what predominates today is the Techno music and all their respective subgenres like Hard Techno, Schranz, Acid, Industrial, NeoRave, Makina, Groove, RawStyle, Gabber, NewStyle, Bumping, Frenchcore, Hardcore, HardBass, Tekno, XtraRaw and many more...

I can say that in this new stage it’s all the other way around, just like now my style is characterized by increasing BPM I’ve also increased energy, the illusion of giving the best of me and above all self-confidence when it comes to making myself known by playing live music and making sets as a DJ, as I told you at the beginning in this second part as a musician my main focus is to be a DJ and currently I do not contemplate producing and creating my own music as I did before but I definitely do not discard it and later possibly I will be in the process to learn from scratch to produce Techno and Hard music.

Currently I still maintain the idea of mixing at 128 BPM as I used to do with EDM music but sporadically and with more current genres like Melodic Techno, Tech House and Dark Techno. But my main focus is mixing songs that have at least 140 BPM and maximum 200 BPM. It’s f*cking Hard time!
