Julio Machicado is a Madrid-based DJ and producer whose journey into electronic music began in the UK, where he lived for five years and developed the foundations of his sound. After England, Julio relocated to Sydney, Australia, where he quickly made a name for himself in the city’s club scene, performing at some of its most respected venues and sharing the stage with artists such as Paco Osuna. During this period, he founded Bossa, a successful event and brand concept focused on stripped-back, forward-thinking electronic music.
