Music is what touches me the most in life. I grew up influenced by a very musical father who loves and plays World music, chansons in most different languages. This was a first glimpse into the stunning vastness of music that's just waiting there to be explored. I do explore music daily, sometimes using the magic of playing an instrument. I started playing the drums when I was 6 years old, four years later went to a high school with a sharp focus on music. That made me switch to make piano strings resonate, mostly looking at sonatinas, preludes or other creations of classical composers. Covid brought me to a different set of strings, namely those of a guitar. Strumming and singing in my head or out loud is the result of me feeling a musical spark. I open the chord sheets for rock of the 80s, current indie, Simon & Garfunkel or pop music. My love for music has been accompanied by singing, which is one or the most beautiful things in the world. But when I play, I play records. The personal journey of blasting sound waves through rooms shows long and winding roads. I don't want to compromise on musical genres I once loved and feel like there should be only very few musical taboos. Be it at a business event in a golf club house,a y2k party or in a dark bunker-like setting of a technoid sphere – my musical eyes have seen most different experiences, my ears enjoyed, my fingers created them. My focus yet is a clear one. My first gigs were built around Deep House and Tech House in lovely locations like Plattenladen Bamberg or Zirkel Erlangen. This early imprint of House and Techno was intensively reinforced since I came to Berlin. Its fascinating scene overthrows itself, creates and sustains (endangered) places of musical love like Sisyphos, Watergate, Hoppetosse, ://about blank and more oases of sound. I am truly blessed to be able to perceive such energy, experience sweaty nights that turn into days, have my horizon of syncopic beats, of 4/4 kicks, of vigorous basslines widened. It's not a tough decision to dedicate a part of my life to this love. I am grateful for every DJ I see who enlargenes my musical perspective, reads the dance floor and delivers the right energy in the right moment. I hope I can contribute to this. This feeling, this joy, this motivating factor for people, this support in rough times is something that's worth it. Let there be love – and electronic music.
