Jonas Rocha aka Joutro Mundo is a major force on the electronic music scene of Rio de Janeiro. Winner of 'Best DJ of Rio' by the magazine Época, winner of the 'Brazilian Music Award – Foundation of Arts 2012', and veteran at the Red Bull Music Academy, Jonas also produces several parties in Rio, among others Reza, Croma and the legendary Bootleg party that has run for over ten years. He performed at the 2013 edition of Rock in Rio and has since become a reference on the Brazilian edit and nu-disco scene as producer and artist Joutro Mundo. 2018 is the year Joutro Mundo records his first EP to his new label Outra. A series of tracks inspired on regions North and Northeastern of Brazil. Joutro Mundo also releases a remix for the popular Brazilian singer Marlui Miranda call Tchori Tchori on the UK label Optimo / Selva Discos. Have taken part on renowned Dutch festival Dekmantel that happen in São Paulo and traveled with his tours around Asia,Europe and South America. Founder of a project aiming to preserve the indigenous chants of the neglected indigenous tribes of South America, whilst working to approach contemporary music, Jonas won the award 'Funarte de Música Brasileira' with the CD Cantos Yawanawá. In 2017 Jonas released the album Inú with Xiti Nukini and has one more project in finalization with the Brazilian tribe Huni-Kuin.
