Josh's love for music pushed him to learn guitar and trumpet, and he played in a funk band in college. At the same time, he started an electronic music radio show on 91.1 WSPN, and his record collection took off. In 1997, his friend Pete taught him to beat-match and mix records, and the duo founded Triple X Music to produce and promote large warehouse raves in upstate NY until 2001. Josh then relocated to NYC and reconnected with his college friend Tom. They began a series of weekly outdoor daytime house music parties under the Williamsburg Bridge at Rock Star Bar.
