Born to parents of the infamous Studio54 era, Jon was trained as a dancer before his first teenage club permanently changed his artistic trajectory. His uncle, a bouncer at various nightclubs, passed him a copy of the resident DJ's latest record. He soon set out to find new music, which peaked his interest in learning to DJ, and spent the next years studying a thriving New York City culture while practicing at night with the help of various DJ mentors. The focus and dedication eventually paid off. A move to Brooklyn paved the way for the launch of his first residency at De La'funk, an after-party community, where he honed his craft as a DJ and narrowed his focus toward the dark, spacious and ultra-detailed techno he’s now known for. He undermines and overrides expectations and refrains to limit the music for any reason.
