JON EYE Musician and Artist Jonathan Iredell is born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia During the day, he teaches astronomy, physics and calculus By night, he performs Cosmic Music and Live Graffiti Art under the name of “Jon Eye” All of Jonathan’s art and music is based in Science, Psychology, Philosophy, and Spirituality “Through art, music, and poetry, we can gain a stronger understanding of ourselves and our surroundings” Jonathan has been drawing and writing poems since high school, and starting using paint, microphones, DJ controllers, and music production software in college. He has been creating spray paint art and performing music now for over 12 years Jonathan values education, knowledge, learning, health, peacefulness, awareness, philosophy, nature, and personal growth Jonathan plans on continuing to teach science and math, playing the role of a mentor for the next generation of students, scientists, and writers JON EYE is inspired by Astronomy, Spirituality, Consciousness, Health, Science, Expression, Music, Awareness and Visionary Art, combining musical performance with live painting and poetry for a truly unique experience. JON EYE works as an educator in physics and astronomy during the week, and continues his passion for science and community through science based art and music on the weekends JON loves to communicate and engage the viewers with cosmic knowledge and creative ideas that enhance and create a viewing experience around his artwork JON EYE also provides photography and videography, editing recap videos for events where he presents art and music.
