Music has always been a part of his life, but he got a real passion for it when he was introduced to producing by his piano teacher when he was 14. He’s been listening to all kinds of music before getting into music production and DJ'ing, meaning his inspiration and creativity are rooted in a wide and eclectic variety of genres, allowing him to enjoy going with the music flow. Influenced by one of his good friends Basile, who always played loud and good electronic music, he started producing 4 to the floor tracks. Giving free rein to his emotions, life struggles and enjoyments on the keyboard has given him the opportunity and satisfaction to enjoy the feeling of being a free human in this world. Having been nicknamed Johnny during his adolescence by most of his schools’ friends, this name became a part of him. One afternoon of spontaneous meet-up outside with his mates and because of the will of honouring his father’s memory, Legato came up as an addition to his first nickname. Thus, Johnny Legato was born. He’s a DJ who plays House, Techno music and everything in between.
