John's journey into the house music movement began after seeing DirtyBird players Claude VonStroke and Justin Martin perform a rare B2B set at the Greek Amphitheatre in Berkeley, CA. After seeing what the genre had to offer, John became hooked and soon became a regular attendee of world-class San Francisco venues Halcyon and Audio SF where he was inspired by the international talent and began to develop a desire to make people’s days and nights memorable through a shared musical experience. After spending countless hours curating playlists for friends and family, John took the plunge and bought his first decks in 2020, and played his first shows in 2021 when he and local veterans BRi and JCruz formed their collective Treal House. John is known for laying down hard-hitting yet soulful minimal grooves and his passion for sharing the music he loves with people who love music.
