Jøhannes has been a long-time fan of electronic music, having played across Scotland and France in venues such as Aberdeen's Tunnels, Dundee's Casa, as well as Nico's Bar, Nice 'N' Sleazy and Sub Club in Glasgow, and Cafe Chaud in Morzine. Jøhannes produces music himself, as well as collaborating with upcoming Glasgow artists. An avid jazz pianist, he also likes to use this prowess to incorporate a unique flair to his productions, along with distinctive synth-based melodies and gritty breakbeat rhythms to present a sound that is truly his own, inspired by artists such as Mall Grab, Plump DJs, Soulwax and Prospa.
