JOG treats vinyl as a form of language. With roots in acid and echoes of ’90s raves, he builds low-frequency rhythmic landscapes where groove meets abstraction. Hints of jazz and hip-hop glide through the textures with lightness, creating a precise, physical sound that is always in motion. - He started taking his first steps in the world of djing in 2014, by the age of 16, at a place where he still plays today - Capitão Mor in Seia. And this is where it all begins. Only in 2018, on his birthday, he introduced himself as JOG and what was originally a mere birthday party ends up becoming a project: Electronik Forest. A 12 hours party in the heart of Serra da Estrela Natural Park. From this project, Electronik Events was born, with the main goal of regularly holding electronic music events in Seia. In 2019 he moves in to Viseu and meets Vanessa (Valody) who invites him to join the O GRAVE's collective, alongside Pedro (Tryängle), and later on Francisca Urbano as resident DJ. In 2021, he launched a new party concept and project, RAVEYARD, which already had its presentation party but is now on stand-by, waiting to gather better conditions to become a serious and consistent project.
