Joe Pea is a professional electronic music DJ and producer who is increasingly sharing his passion and talent for music across the world. An incessant fascination with percussion and rhythm led Joe initially to taking up the drums as a hobby as a child. Upon finishing school he moved on to pursue his passion playing live music with bands in and around the Western US. A chance introduction to electronic music in 1999 in Phoenix, AZ by a friend was a transformative moment, and in less than a year Joe had decided to put down the drumsticks, start collecting vinyl and put on the headphones. Joe's passion for electronic music has spanned over 17 years and his dedication to the craft has taken him all over North America to events, festivals & gatherings such as WMC, Burning Man, YOUtopia, Lightning in A Bottle, Desert Hearts & Oregon Eclipse Festival, just to name a few. He is one of San Diego California's busiest DJs & has been blessed to share the stage with amazing artists such as Adam Freeland, Christian & Justin Martin, J. Phlip, Worthy, Sunshine Jones, Claude VonStroke, Richie Hawtin, Nic Fanciulli, Christian Smith, DJ Dan, DJ Garth and countless others.
