JOE AKA came up hosting secret invite only illegal raves at unique abandon locations accross London, He quickly earned himself an infamous reputation for throwing the wildest parties in the city, often all night and day long, in unique spaces, sometime right in the city center of one of the busiest capitals on earth. Son of a musician in indie bands, and his grand father an Irish organist in he church, JOE AKA took a different route into music. A child of the London music scene, he grew up meters away from the world class record stores of the once artistic capital Portobello road, and visiting the jungle and dub record stores of Soho on an almost daily basis after school, always learning and taking influence from the unique Jungle, Garage and Grime scenes of chaotic London, fusing with his into his love of classic American dance music, and British Indie Rock heritage.
