Inspired by Sydney’s nightlife in the early 2010s and mesmerised by the way DJs could wrap a crowd around their little finger, Joan gravitated to the front of the dancefloor, determined to entertain. A self-described ADHDJ, his sets bounce around from high energy house to cheeky techno to high-voltage hard groove, keeping the dancefloor pumping, the sweat dripping and the crowd wanting more. He takes inspiration from DJs such as Stinny Stone and DJ G2G - the ones who keep shit fun, never take themselves too seriously, and aren't afraid to throw in a wild card (Like a 170bpm remix of Fergie's London Bridge - a favourite closing track for Joan's sets). A resident of Amsterdam's Club Church and NYX, his Amsterdam DJ resume is growing fast, with gigs for Rara Avis' ADE party, Just Another Gay Halloween Party, Alter 3go and Club Hypersexual.
