Born and raised in Saarbrücken, Julia aka JMK discovered her love for house and techno early on, drawing inspiration from the scenes in Mannheim and Frankfurt as well as neighbouring France and Luxembourg. Performing in Hamburg since 2024, JMK moves freely between melodic techno, indie dance, (progressive) house, tech house and techno. Whatever the genre, her approach is simple: bouncy grooves that keep the dancefloor moving and put smiles on faces. Alongside her DJ work, Julia volunteers to help run a DJ practice space for FLINTA* people at Hamburg’s club and cultural centre Gängeviertel.
