JJ is a London-born and raised DJ whose sound is deeply rooted in the city’s underground history. Growing up immersed in the Drum ’n’ Bass scene, he spent his formative years frequenting iconic clubs such as The End and Plastic People — experiences that continue to shape his deep, bass-conscious approach to techno. He is the chief resident and driving force behind Rebloom, a London-based party and event series dedicated to exploring the deeper corners of techno, bass-driven dance music, and ambient / experimental sounds. Through Rebloom, JJ has helped cultivate a strong sense of community while hosting and performing at key underground spaces across the city, including FOLD, Ormside Projects, Venue MOT, Carpet Shop, The Goose, and many more - as well as iconic sets at intimate selector-focused festivals such as Springkell in Scotland and New Grass in Brandenburg, Germany. As a DJ, JJ is known for his versatility and fluid approach to genre. Drawing influence not only from deep and hypnotic techno, but also from UK bass, Jungle, Drum ’n’ Bass, deep house and dub techno. His sets are characterised by deep, psychedelic energy and strong momentum, balanced with moments of relief, softness, and emotional release. Seamlessly moving between intensity and subtlety, he crafts hypnotic journeys that feel both powerful and deeply considered. Driven by community, curiosity, and a genuine love for music, JJ continues to carve out spaces where sound, connection, and exploration can fully bloom.
