JJ Gullo is a Deep House, tech House and Techno DJ/Producer from Palermo- Italy. Started his career as a DJ on the streets of Sicily in 1990. He differed from his competitors by playing underground music tracks instead of happy commercial music. He indulged in his passion for music from a young age, blowing all the money from his small payslip round on vinyls and equipment to produce Music. With all resistance against him, he played in many venues in Sicily, starting from the smallest clubs, to venues with capacities of 5000 people. In 2003 he decided to move to London where he started a new music’s expierence, ita was very difficult for him as he couldn’t speak english but as he live by Never give up he managed to find a DJ job by play for a DJ agency for 6 years and thanks to that he has played in many many clubs and bars in London. In 2008 he decided it was time for the next step, Live Performance. He has been the owner of Maskik Records from 2010, starting from his explosive club mix (Party Machine). In 2012 decided to work in cooperation with Elek-Fun and open a new Techno label----Leading Astray Records----- And by working consistently hard with music composition and designing his own sound he managed to play in big events like Street Parade Bologna(Italy) and Street Parade Zurich. In 2015 he played for the first time for Electrolab and thanks to them he could go back to play in Italy for the next 2 years. In 2017 he decided to back in Italy for a bit to be part of Electrolab and starting a new project called Nemesis….Event and artists management. Today JJ Gullo release music for different Labels… Piso Records, AMMuzik records, Prison Entertainment, Complex Textures, Glamour Underground, Berlin Sensation, Select Case, Wasabi Recordings, Le Bien Et Le Mal and moor labels to come. JJ is not happy with ever standing still, he has a strong belief of 'Keep Moving', 'Never Give Up' and 'Push Forward'. Living by these words he keeps pushing himself to try more things, pushing the boundaries that he considers very difficult to achieve. There is no point to do anything..... If you're standing still.
