I began clubbing at just 15 stumbling across the ‘Star Club’ now Eden on Ibiza. From that night I never looked back, attending clubs such as ‘Shellys’ in Stoke on Trent, (home of the legendary Sasha), DJ SS’s weekly event ‘Total Kaos’ at the Starlight 2001 in Leicester, The Eclipse in Coventry and raves such as Dreamscape, Vision and Amnesia House all across the UK. On moving to Cardiff in 1993 I became the resident DJ of what was to become quite possibly the most famous and the most ‘rockin’ club in Wales – The Hippo Club! The Hippo is where I really discovered how to warm up and finish nights alongside the very biggest names in the business such as Sasha, John Digweed, Nick Warren, Paul Oakenfold, Sven Vath, Sister Bliss, John Kelly, Laurent Garnier and more! I has also made regular appearances at Timeflies in Cardiff, one of the longest lasting club brands! I went on to guest DJ at clubs around the World for several years. In 1997 I entered the UK Ministry of Sound mixing championship and came 2nd (yes in the days it was still vinyl) and then in 2000 I was voted 54th best DJ in the DJ Magazine Top 100. I went on to launch my own successful weekly club nights – Enter the Dragon @ Vision, (launched Feb 11th 2000 with Paul Oakenfold) and then later ROAR. After over 4 years off from DJ'ing and music production, I have started up the studio again. A recent quote from legend Carl Cox to Jimpy “Well what can I say but wicked tune, I loved it, I will slam it in Miami and on my radio show Global world wide. Keep it rocking”.
