Jaime Ibarra (aka Jimbo) is one of the creators and impulsors of the mexican record label Discos Prohibidos, as well as Sonido Wey. As a DJ, Jimbo has performed in some of the main nightclubs in the country, visiting states like Aguascalientes, CDMX, Michoacán, Baja California, and many others, getting to reach his first GIG outside MX in LA with the YouKnowWhatLA crew and in San Diego with Just Smile Gatherings. This way he has performed in nighclubs like Bar Américas, Disco Radar, Casa Cobra, NIX Club, Rumors by Deck22, DMT Club, Diente de León, Dynamitas Club, La Mezcalería Ajijic, Munumu MX (Ags) and many others. He has shared decks with artists like Sweely, Joey Jackson, Mike D, Sakro, Paul Coman, Dr. Agujas, The Mekanism, Jizz, Miguel Puente, Pinto, Rodrigo P, elRojo, Sampol, Red Axes, Trommer, and many more. As a producer, his tracks has received support from big names like Sakro, Chklte, Joey Jackson, Pach, Dylan Payne and Paolo Rocco. At the moment, Jimbo is improving his sound by getting into the analogue machines world. In the past couple years he has been investing his time into music production to reach frequencies he has been dreaming of.
