jiimi (jim-ee) DJ/PRODUCER/LABEL OWNER HAMILTON, CANADA jiimi is a hard techno and ambient producer/DJ residing in Hamilton, Ontario. She produces high BPM music with the intent of harmonizing aggressive, hardcore elements with ethereal soundscapes to create an unusual balanced contrast. In 2021, jiimi charted internationally on beatport with her track "Ancient Ruins", gaining global notoriety and having been featured as Beatport's "Best of June" in Hard Techno. She has since released on a variety of record labels including 6ejou's INDUSTRIAL VIOLENCE, Meltdown, Interzeak, and her own label, CTHRTC (cathartic). jiimi transcends her sound, creating a space for herself as an emerging artist in the North American hard techno scene.
