jessica is not unfamiliar to music having been raised by a musically-inclined mother. from going to rock renegades in canyon ravines, to indie pop shows, to EDC, to those nights that blend to 6am mornings, there hasn't been a time where music was not sought out. djing was borne out of a continued interest in music after being introduced to friends that became collective mates (forming blanq slate) over the pandemic. with a love and appreciation for many genres, jessica enjoys curating each set with an intelligent progression of energy. known for genres with driving beats and melodies ranging from eurphoric deep house to grimy garage to vocal-driven piano house, she has showcased sets in san francisco venues such as public works, 1015, phoenix hotel, bergerac, monarch, halcyon and had a residency with sf’s fault radio before moving to berlin, germany. as the only female within blanq slate, jessica also stresses the importance of showcasing djs who also aren’t already heavily represented in the music scene.
