DJ Jeremias hails from the underground scene of Helsinki, Finland. Being 1/5 of the Better Things to Do - dj-collective, he's been organizing events and djing since 2010. The main focus has always been in throwing the best possible party where one can feel welcome and like home and lose oneself on the dance floor. Influenced by the stories of the all time greatest clubs like David Mancuso's Loft, Larry Levan's Paradise Garage, Tony Humphries' Club Zanzibar or Ron Hardy's Muzic Box - just to name a few - Jeremias was fascinated by the described atmosphere these clubs had where you would feel as home - safe and inclusive - and where the DJ would act as the Maestro for tuning the atmosphere on the right pitch. The major musical DJ training was then worked with the brothers of his DJ collective Better Things to Do. A lot about music and dance music culture was talked about and a lot of mixing was done in the dungeons of the legendary Klitsu studio. There the sauciness of the musical mix that DJ Jeremias nowadays fathers was made thick by adding banging deep house and techno to the gumbo of the past mix consisting of hip hop, funk, disco and boogie. Jeremias' approach to his sets are always kept on the notion of serving the dancefloor and mostly trying to keep his own ego out of the mix. The legendary sample quote from DJ Shadows Entroducing... LP serves as a motto for Jeremias: "...it's not really me that's coming The music's coming through me".
