JAYEMKAYEM is a DJ, radio host and music curator currently based in Toronto. She is known for her eclectic selections that span the genres of grime, uk garage, trap, drill, bass and beyond. She was a music journalist and writer before ever stepping behind the decks, so it makes sense that this Canadian has become known for her progressive sets that have seen her play venues across the world—from Montreal to New York to Shanghai—and share the decks with such names as DJ Oneman, Venus X and Virgil Abloh, among others. JAYEM also founded label Bare Selection alongside her partner Freeza Chin, and is one of the co-founders of Toronto's only online community radio station, ISO.
