Jason Vilka Born out of the hotbed of belt driven vinyl. this DJ has certainly served his apprenticeship on the scene. Jason Vilka is a London based DJ and his style can be described simply as a “purveyor of energetic and uplifting House” House music can be categorised into many sub-genres and to master the sounds of each form takes a long time to hone. Jason has built up quite a reputation with his unique blend of Deep, rolling Tech with contagiously catchy vocal snippets. Although this forms the platform of his unique sound, his other influences are most definitely evident in his sets full of chunky baselines, harmoniously delicious synths and real creativity that fuses it all together. At just 17 years young Jason found his love for the House Music genre and set about building an eclectic vinyl collection before taking to the wheels of steel and embarking on his DJ journey. The technical side of this art form has always been one that has inspired his own playing style with the likes of James Zabiela and DJ EZ imprinting his development. This passion soon evolved into a rapidly rising career, becoming active on some of London’s most respected Pirate Radio and Internet stations, constantly exciting listeners through the airwaves. With rising credibility soon turning into a real following, Jason picked up regular bookings at some of London’s most famed venues where he has been a mainstay ever since. The recognition of his craft continued to excite both promoter and venue elevating him to the level he finds himself at today. The journey continued as Jason added another chapter to his story as he decided to launch his own movement, founded on his strong beliefs that he. himself built his name on. September 2017 welcomed the launch show of Induced. The movement has steadily grown and it's easy to understand why with its strict ethos as a platform that showcases up and coming local talent mixed with some already well-established selectors whilst staying fresh creatively with its theme.
