Janina Marie

Known to mix and blend genres, generally leaning towards anything sleazy and funky from the 80s & 90s, Janina Marie has graced dancefloors in Miami, Los Angeles, Warsaw and Barcelona. If you meet her please ask about the time she DJ’d live on Poland’s Czwórka (Polskie Radio) in Warsaw on the all-vinyl show 12 Inch Hour (12”/h). With fellow Toronto based DJ Jodie D she makes up 1/2 of Group Benefits, a multi-genre dance party dedicated to supporting women, queer and non-binary artists. When Janina's not DJing she works as a filmmaker, music supervisor and podcast producer.
