Born into a musical family and having picked up keyboard and drums as a kid, at age 17 Jamie was introduced to a set of Technics for the first time. Moving forward a few years Jamie got his hands on a cracked copy of Propellerheads ReBirth software from his sister and experimentation with beats continued. Moving forward a few years more Jamie finally had releases on Turning Wheel Records (2014) and Tech Factory Records(2015). As a DJ Jamie continues to experiment with broken beats and 4/4 sounds alike, now almost always settling on a harder percussive groove but still able to contrast with deep atmospheric synth melodies, constructing lively sets and building thundering crescendos, whilst always remaining focused on the floor. As boss of the TropicLab parties, and recently also been trusted with holding the reigns over the Midnight Shift parties in Asia with best friend and fellow DJ Haan, Jamie has played out extensively on the island and in the region, regularly playing at some of Singapores top underground clubs such as Headquarters, Kilo Lounge, Tuff Club Kyo and Cato. Jamie has also been featured in some of the awesome festival lineups in Asia having played Wonderfruit Festival in Thailand in 2018 and 2019.
